When I shoot people I want them to own my camera. By that I mean that I want them to be open to their emotions and who they are when they are in front of the camera.

Whether it is excitement, anger, sensuality or a sweet sadness. I search for and try to bring out that emotion in my subject. My favorite search is for an innocence within their eyes. A soft projection of sensuality where you feel like you can see their soul. Once that is achieved, the technical aspects come into play. I chose a mixture of ambient lighting with flash photography to create a uniquely bold portrait / fashion style. I believe that the world which surrounds us creates the best studio. In the end though, for me photography is about creating something subconsciously desirable for the viewer.
